Water running from the indoor unit usually means the drain line is blocked or the unit needs attention. Keep water away from plugs, and switch off if it reaches anything electrical.
A musty smell is often dirt building up inside the indoor unit. A burning smell is different: switch the unit off and have it checked before using it again.
